Hi Everyone! For the sake of our absentee WEMers let's post the title and subtitle we came up with for The Trial.
Joseph K.'s Life of Consolation or Despair: Since the day of Joseph K's arrest he has been increasingly diligent about clearing his name. However with each new step his sense of guilt increases as his resistance to the system of the courts weakens. The final glimmer of hope vanishes when the prison chaplain confronts with with the words, "You stand accused." Finally he is taken out of the city and killed with the final verdict observed, by his executors, on his face.
Hello dear readers! Thanks for this opportunity Lynette.
