Resuming our Conversation

Hello fellow conversationalists:

There has not been a post since 2014. Where does the time go?
I wanted us all to connect again as you feel motivated. For me, the hard part is just finding the blog. So hopefully, as you meet we can share our thoughts to solidify the benefits of expanding deepening our horizons and experiences.

Some have moved across the world back home or across the world away from home. Many of you have added to your families, so they have grown in stature and numbers. Some have added degrees in your family. Many of you have had to resume a career schedule. Some of us are grandma's and moms just trying to navigate that new role. We have even added new members.

In spite of all the changes some of us have plodded on with our reading and conversations. We have finished the novels and have now embarked on the Autobiography. Many of us were very excited to start Confessions only to be immobilized by Margery Kempe and her vision or conversion in the state of postpartum depression. Maybe it was just too much information.

The Ann Arbor group disbanded as people moved all over the world. Lynette moved to Atlanta and started a little group  there.Lynette's group of two plodded on and went back to Quixote since none of them had read it yet and then added another member.

The West Michigan group stopped until this past October to breathe and adjust to new babies and life.  After two discussions on the Montaigne essays. We are now moving on to Teresa of Avila.

Looking forward to more conversations.
